What Sets Us Apart
We are design artisans who use old-world craftsmanship to draw hand-rendered illustrations. We then convert them to detailed engineered plans, using state-of-the-art CAD technology to help you visualize your final project. Our hands-on “team” approach means that our entire design staff participates in each project. This comprehensive process ensures that your project will run smoothly and that no detail will go unnoticed. We offer personal jobsite supervision and outstanding support services from preliminary concept design to installation and beyond, paying unsurpassed attention to design needs of our urban clients.
Gregory Hitchcock Principal & Senior Designer
This veteran kitchen designer, who supervises Showcase Kitchens of NYC’s Manhattan showroom, has completed more than 300 stunning, high-end kitchen and bath design projects for clients in the NYC area. He truly understands the intricacies of urban design, including space restrictions.
Before launching his successful design career a decade ago, Gregory worked as a skilled professional in a variety of fields, including picture framing, stone cutting, cabinet making, museum carpentry and metal fabrication. And he earned a BA in fine arts. This background in visual arts, coupled with practical construction and fabrication experience, gives him an unusually diversified foundation for design. Gregory believes that "getting back to basics" has helped him become a better designer.
"The broad knowledge I have acquired enables me to visualize the entire project from every conceivable angle, “says Gregory. His extensive travels to more than 16 countries and exposure to different cultures plays an important role in his ability to understand and communicate others’ thoughts and ideas. To Gregory, the most rewarding aspect of his job is “having the opportunity to solve complex problems and deliver the finished project to my client on budget and on time."
